I have always loved travelling and reading about far off places. I grew up in the Zimbabwean bush and have always felt an affinity with Africa and its wildlife. I always thought that I would end up in the tourist industry but decided to pursue a degree in journalism. However, once the travel bug has bitten there is no going back! After graduation I was lured back into tourism and have worked as a website writer and spent some time working in the luxury cruise industry. I moved to the beautiful city of Cape Town and joined AAA Travel as the resident wordsmith

Hi everyone. I’m South African born and raised. I’ve worked for 37 years mostly in Corporate companies and I’ve travelled around South Africa and abroad. I lived and worked in the UK for 10 years and returned to South Africa in 2012 where I spent the next two years on a farm in Kwazulu Natal and then in Gauteng where I enjoyed a lovely three year rest. I visited Cape Town in December 2015 and simply couldn’t leave. I recently joined AAA Travel in August in the finance department and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. It’s a lovely young and vibrant company who value their Suppliers, Agents and Guests. I’ve learned that hard work and clean living keeps you young and healthy and ‘Respect for the Individual’ is a key Principle in any professional company. I hope to spend many years in their ‘company’.

Hi there! Coming from a guiding background of more than 10 years, I decided that a change of scenery and new challenges was needed and this is what brought me into the office of AAA travel. After finding my feet initially and growing into my new role, I am currently employed as the Contracts & Product Development Manager. I am very passionate about Southern Africa and still enjoy to travel around and use my knowledge and expertise to find the unique and sometimes off the beaten track spots that sets AAA Travel apart from our competitors. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking and 4wd safaris into the most scenic parts of Africa.
